SALMON ARM B.C.: The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are excited to announce Josh Dubinsky will be joining the team's coaching staff for the upcoming season. Dubinsky spent time as an assistant coach for four-years with Ridley College in the MPHL before heading to the Kenai River Brown Bears in the NAHL as an assistant coach and short period as head coach.
He also spent the last half of the 21/22 season as an assistant coach with the Omaha Lancers in the USHL. Josh has a connection to Salmon Arm, his brother Zach spent time as a Silverback during the 20/21 Covid season.
“Josh will be a great addition to our coaching staff and believe he will fit in well with Tyler & Carter in their coaching styles," said Silverbacks GM Brooks Christensen. "It was important for us to add to our hockey ops staff this off season to have more resources to our players. Josh’s experience in the NAHL & USHL will benefit our program not only on day-to-day operations but scouting as well."
Meanwhile, Dubinsky says he's looking forward to his new role with the team:
"I am very excited to be coming to Salmon Arm and to be joining the Silverbacks organization. I am looking forward to working with Brooks, Tyler and Carter, and building off of last year’s successes. I can’t wait to get up there and get things started!
Please help us welcome Josh to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks organization.
